For your information those creatures were the ones that started the war, not the humans. It's in the name. "Monsters" "An imaginary creature that is typically large, ugly, and frightening Clearly, they were thirsty for power, specifically the power of human souls, which is why they started the war But us humans, not to mention one human is powerful than the entire monster race, were able to defeat them. Do you understand?
I figured that it's about time I tell my story.
Well, it all started when I was born. I was born normally like any other child. Well, I was born with a SOUL trait, that's not normal ever since the war. Most humans had a soul trait and magic back then. I guess you could say most human children lost the ability to gain magic during childhood after the war ended. I was one of the few "special ones" as I had a special soul and I was born "at a random time". She didn't want me for my "soul". As for my mother.... she........... So she abandoned me.
A nursery home took me in, but years later, they couldn't keep me any longer. I was on my own. I went and looked for a place I could call my home and, hopefully, people to call my family. I would find homes and people to take care of me, but it would only last for a while until they no longer wanted me. They would always say the same thing before I left, "Who would want you anyway?' Home after home, family after family, I started to lose hope. I had no home in the end to shelter me and no one to love and care for me.
I was taken in by a boarding school since it was time. My last family registered me there and just left me there. At least, I have a place to stay. But the madness didn't stop there. I was already getting bullied for being a "special child" and for looking so wierd, telling me that I looked like I've been to hell and back. There's....more than that...
Other than bullying... I was abuse at school by my peers and the adults. I had no friends that would be with me. Many people would accuse me for their wrongdoings. People would call me a "demon". They would also mock me and physically hurt me so they could see if my "magic" and "powers" would save me, but nothing happens. I doubt if I even have magic. I question my "abilities" and my existence. Who am I? Am I even alive?
It all was because I defended the monsters and felt bad for them. It didn't make any sense at all. But I ignored it and moved on. But one day, I had enough of it.... When they stopped by to talk. That’s when I decided to prove that the legend was real.
