A RESET was needed to trigger this machine, so Frisk agreed to help Sans. Unfortunately, the machine didn't work as expected. It exploded and created a void that swallowed the underground. Only few pieces of land was left, barely intact, floating above the void-one of them was Sans' house.
№ LAQui JQI7 Inside the broken-down laboratory, Sans woke up blind and hurt. He called out for help, but nobody came. Using his Magical Eye, he found his brother, Papyrus, unconscious and badly hurt. He used Green Magic to heal themselves. Without Frisk, the Incident cannot be undone. Sans realizes that they have to survive without RESETS. -----------------S; • ■
№ LAGVi ¿017 After a few years, their house was completely restored, and Sans perfected Green Magic— the only thing that keeps them alive without eating or sleeping. His Green Magic became 'alive'and limitless, making him somewhat... eternal. He, of course, shares it with Papyrus. Though for some reason, Sans couldn't regenerate his normal eyes back.
Sans never stopped looking for Frisk. He checks the floating islands and rocks for clues everyday. At the end of every day he sits on the Ruin's broken door, missing her and thinking how he has taken her powers for granted. He also remembered Toriel, the knock-knock jokes, and the promise—a cue that Frisk will leave the Ruins soon.
